Meet the boys
Cole was living on the streets along with several other boys. They did what they could to make money and get food. His life was upturned when the building they were living in exploded.
He had met a nice man named Dan that was trying to figure out how to help him, but when Dan tried to help him, Cole barfed on him and was embarrassed.
Cole spent weeks hiding on the streets avoiding Dan until one day Dan finally found him. Dan was able to adopt Cole and get him off the streets.
Unfortunately one of the other boys from the building wasn’t so lucky and was crushed in a compactor behind WalMart where he was sleeping to avoid the cold.
Jack was a good boy and a quiet kid. He grew up outside of Grizzly Valley. Being a shy kid, he didn’t try out for sports, but he always went to watch his friend Mario play baseball.
At school, he wasn’t that popular, but somehow finally got a girlfriend. Prom night turned into a disaster. Long story short, Jack is now a dad and his son Brian thinks the world of him.
Being a teen dad caused problems at school. He became a target and was bullied. He found a new set of friends in the baseball team. They all had his back. His friendship with Mario grew stronger as a result.
While he wasn’t much good at baseball, he actually knew how to play hockey. His dad had intended to go pro, but was injured. He got the baseball boys to play pickup hockey.
Jasper was uprooted from his “normal” life to move to Grizzly Valley. His dad’s job brought them there. He was quite shy, and due to circumstances he was held back and placed in third grade, again.
He thought the world would end as he would be in a class of younger kids that he thought would be silly, after all, he’s older now.
His teacher was really nice. She managed to convince him that the world was right. He managed to find a friend in Benjamin and felt a connection he couldn’t describe.
It wasn’t an unusual sight to see a supercar or luxury car on the streets of Grizzly Valley. There were some very expensive houses in the hills.
There wasn’t a large selection of grocery stores in town though, due to its small size. Most of the people that owned these cars had people that purchased their groceries or had it delivered.
One night, this green Bentley was parked at the discount grocery store. It seemed out of place with the menagerie of beat up pick up trucks in the parking lot.
What could they be shopping for? Obviously they wanted something that they couldn’t send their help to get.
The two boys that were pushing the cart and playing tag seemed to have collected quite the number of items to throw a party. They had a cake, cups, drinks and were poking through the dairy case for whipped cream. As the little one grabbed the cap and started to run at the older one, the father showed up with a case of whiskey. The boys calmed down and helped dad put the whiskey under the cart. Dad looked like he had already consumed a fair share before coming to the store. The way these boys were acting, I can see why.
Then they found what they were looking for…
Go Bag: Beau and his brother Colt had a pretty horrible home life. Thankfully, Beau who loved horses, was able to help out at the ranch and this weekend was a rodeo.
He should make enough money caring for the horses and putting up their tack for the riders to feed him and his little brother for a while. He almost had enough money to get away from his drunken father. They both needed a new start.
